We have a range of races taking place throughout the year from competing the London Universities and Colleges Athletics fixtures to the British Universities and Colleges Sport championships. Whatever your level, Imperial College's cross country and athletics club would love to support you!

8th October 2025

LUCA XC Relay champs

In association with LUCA, UCL are hosting a new cross country relays championships at their home course of Parliament Hill! 4x2.5k, this is a great introduction to cross country and the perfect way to get to know the club.

22rd October 2025

LUCA XC Parliment Hill

First Cross Country event of the acedemic year, on the same course as UCL’s new relays. Beers and cheers afterwards. 3pm start, if you buy a vest on the union website we will give it to you on the day.

25th October 2025

Cambridge Megacross

Once again, we will be returning to Cambridge for the fourth annual RAF v CUHH v Alumni v Imperial megacross event. Make sure you're there as it is not one to miss!

12th November 2025

Luca XC Wimbledon

With King’s College London hosting, this is a really scenic XC race through the woods of Wimbledon. Try not to get lost though!

16th November 2025

Brighton 10k

10k in Brighton. We will be operating a minibus to transport you down Friday night and return Sunday morning. A race to remember and a night to remember.

LUCA indoor champs

An extremely early track and field meet at Lee Valley in Northeast London. We held the bronze trophy jointly with UCL last year, can we pull out all stops to improve our standing this year?

St George's will host the 3rd race of the LUCA XC 2025-26 series. Bring your A game!

BUCS XC

The big UK universities and colleges' race, this year in Cardiff. Reportedly one of the best nights out of the year after!

BUCS Indoor Athletics

The perfect chance to show what all the hard winter training has got you - test yourself against the fastest in Britain's unis! Doubles up as an ill-recommended Valentine's day retreat to Sheffield.

Hyde Park Relays

Imperial's long-standing tradition, this 4x5K road race allows you to run a stunning route passing some of London's iconic landmarks such as Serpentine lake, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner. All welcome - no age, membership or speed requirement. Professionally timed and measured course.

Luca XC Wormwood Scrubs

Imperial college's home XC match to round off the season, in our swampy home turf with views of the local prison.

28th March 2026, Stratford

LUCA Pre-BUCS Open

Calling all Medics in the club - LUCA’s united hospitals shield can be won at this Pre-BUCS open, hosted by LUCA. Everyone is welcome to come along, it’s a great time to set yourself an early season PB and get the competition nervous!

Da Batavarianrace

The Batavierenrace is a relay race over 175 km from Nijmegen to Enschede, divided into 25 stages (16 men's stages and 9 women's stages) varying from 3.5 km to 10.7 km. Over 350 teams participate in the race, which means more than 8,000 students.
